UK & Ireland
Leaf Environmental is part of the Leaf Group. We provide specialist Authorised Representative (AR) waste packaging, WEEE & battery compliance services throughout the UK & Ireland.
The Leaf Group operates a Packaging Compliance Scheme within the UK from Glasgow (Scotpak for England, Scotland and Wales) as well as a Belfast-based consultancy, Leaf UK.

Obligations
The packaging regulations have been in force since 1997, and have been amended on numerous occasions. We have been immersed in them since 1999.
Leaf Environmental can establish what your obligations are through a packaging audit. We specialise in understanding and working within current UK and Irish Producer Responsibility Regulations.
Route to Compliance
Whether you want to self comply with your Local Authority or pass the obligations to Repak, directly register with a UK Environment Agency or join a compliance scheme, we can help you make the best decision for your business.
WEEE
Producer Regulations
We work with producers of WEEE in Ireland or the UK to help those qualifying businesses comply with the WEEE regulations. We can explain what your obligations are; we can collate your data and we can submit it for you to the relevant bodies in tandem with your other compliance obligations.
Liaison
We liaise with the Producer Register Limited (formerly the WEEE Registration Society), WEEE Black Box, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); BIS and Defra in the UK and of course the compliance schemes on your behalf as part of the service.

Battery waste regulations are part of the E.U. wide Producer Responsibility series. They place recovery and recycling obligations on importers and manufacturers as well as sellers of batteries.

UK Packaging Compliance Scheme & Consultancy
If your business operates within the UK, the most time and cost efficient way to manage your packaging compliance obligations is to become a member of an approved compliance scheme.
As well as offering consultancy services, the Leaf Group operates one scheme that cover the whole of the UK. Northern Ireland has separate packaging waste regulations to the the rest of the UK and Leaf UK can advise on the relevant N.I. obligations. Scotpak covers England, Scotland and Wales.
If you join our scheme we take on the legal responsibility for your business to register with the appropriate agency, meet the targets and remain compliant in your obligations on the basis of the data that you submit to us.

Packaging Compliance for England, Scotland & Wales based in Glasgow
Nipak is Northern Ireland's only local packaging compliance scheme.
We work with obligated businesses to help them meet their requirements under the Packaging Regulations in a practical and cost effective way. The Nipak scheme offers the best value route for local businesses to become and stay compliant.
As a member of Scotpak all of your UK obligations can be covered by the Leaf Group.
This includes data collation and compliance services for England Scotland and Wales. Both the Nipak and the Scotpak service is distinguished by personalised client care and our broad experience across many sectors.
